Now, those are some cute kids! And it’s not just me talking. Felicia and her friend Tyler have become semi-famous as the poster children for this year’s SJPPNS co-op preschool open house, scheduled for next week.

For those of you in the Bay Area, the ad is on Page 34 of the February edition of Bay Area Parent Silicon Valley.

Actually, it’s not the first time that a photogenic Keller Girl has appeared in an advertisement for her preschool. Albeit, Jocelyn’s turn was technically the result of an ad I created (assign your bias where you will). But then again, Jocelyn appeared twice, once in a print ad and again in a “trading card” campaign I developed as a word-of-mouth tool for St. Elizabeth’s Day Home back in 2004.

Happy Birthday, Felicia!

To celebrate another fantastic year of Felicia, we turn to inspiration from a chapter book series that she’s recently discovered: The Magic Tree House. We’ve been reading these fun “chapter books” to her out loud almost every day, so we are planning a few party activities that will follow ideas and themes from the books.

There is no need for anyone to read these books before the party, but feel free to try it if you haven’t already. Your child will love the stories, and reading chapter books to children is a great step for Pre-K reading readiness
